Child Protection Training

This session has been designed for those working with children and also those workers whom come into contact with children throughout the course of their work role as possible visitors or even carers.

It gives a good insight as to who might abuse, the types and possible indicators of abuse and how to deal with disclosures. When candidates have a good understanding of this the trainer then discusses their responsibility to report and the legislation and guidance around safeguarding so they are aware of the processes involved to protect and safeguard the child that has been subjected to abuse.
