A Night to Remember at the Ards Peninsula Business Awards 2026

On Friday 12th June, our team at Peninsula Care Services had the pleasure of attending the prestigious Ards Peninsula Business Awards at the beautiful Clandeboye Lodge Hotel and what an unforgettable evening it turned out to be!
The night began with a warm welcome and drinks reception, giving us the opportunity to connect with fellow local businesses and soak up the incredible atmosphere. We were then officially greeted by the President of the Newtownards Chamber of Trade, marking the start of a fantastic celebration of excellence across our local business community.
Guests were treated to a delicious four-course dinner, and we were delighted to sit together as a team, sharing in the excitement of the evening. With anticipation building, the awards ceremony soon commenced, expertly hosted by TV presenter Holly Hamilton, alongside a lineup of special guests including Olympic gold medal-winning gymnast Rhys McClenaghan.
We were honoured to be shortlisted as finalists in two highly competitive categories:

To be recognised alongside such outstanding businesses was already a tremendous achievement.

Still celebrating our first win, we were overwhelmed when our name was called once again, a double win! Our table erupted with cheers as we realised we had also taken home the Customer Service Excellence Award.
A Proud Moment for Our Team
Winning both awards in one evening was not only unexpected but truly humbling. We are immensely grateful to the judging panel for recognising the hard work, dedication, and passion that goes into everything we do.
Our Director, Jonny Cook, summed it up perfectly:

Our trophies are now proudly displayed at our office reception, where both staff and visitors can see them. They now take their place alongside our other achievements, each one representing the dedication and heart of our entire organisation.
